Impala antelopes are native to South Africa and are both grazers and browsers.
One of their most unique traits among plains game species is the ability to prolong gestation. While the typical gestation period is 6.5 months, Impala can extend it by up to 14 days, allowing them to give birth during the most favorable conditions.
